IVAN PDXTI CX Race Bike

On the heels of a banner year in 2017, including a 3rd place finish at USA CX Nationals in Reno, our brand ambassador and Portland Titanium race team captain Mitchell Trux is ready to hit the barriers running (pun intended). With his beloved OMEN model being discontinued in order for us to concentrate on its more versatile brother IVAN, we set Mitch up with a hot new race bike for 2018, complete with the "Arrows" anodized/etched graphic that we have used on PDXTI race bikes for the past several years.

With early season CX in Oregon being warm, dry, dusty and fast, we kept the Ivan set up with its summer shoes, the Schwalbe G-One tire, a "gravel" tire with almost unlimited applications, including as a dry season cyclocross tire. The rest of the bike build features the PDXTI sponsor product that we know, love, and use on the vast majority of our builds for racers and customers alike.

IVAN SSCX Swallows Anodized + Etched

Your bike is your bike. It should look the way you want it to look. And with our custom finish options, whether we are using one of our designs or working from art that you provide, your bike can be as absolutely stealth, absolutely loud, or in this particular case as absolutely beautiful as you want it to be!

For the custom finish on this special SSCX Ivan our customer hand drew a repeating swallow graphic at full scale, and from there we worked with his original art to create a pattern that would give him the tasteful yet striking visual he was looking for.

NAHBS 2018 SSCX IVAN Pops Up at Sea Otter Classic

Great to see the SSCX IVAN we put together with TRP, HiFi, and Gates for the TRP display at NAHBS 2018 in CX Magazine's list of cyclocross and gravel bikes that caught their eyes during the annual Sea Otter Classic in April. We really love the geometric graphic and trippy vibrant colors.
